Testimonials

My daughter loved the braiding workshop. Before, she never really knew how to do her hair and always needed help. Now she’s teaching herself and even doing styles on her own. It’s boosted her confidence so much. I’m really thankful for Mighty Crowns for giving her those skills and that pride.” - Parent
I’ll never forget one little girl I helped. She was tender-headed and told me she usually avoids getting her hair done because it hurts too much. As I gently washed and detangled her curls, she opened up — about school, her favorite cartoons, and how she didn’t always feel pretty. We took our time, and I made sure every step was filled with patience and care. When I showed her the mirror at the end, she smiled so big it nearly brought me to tears. She said, ‘I look like a princess.’ Moments like that remind me that this work is so much deeper than hair — it’s about affirming beauty, worth, and love.”- Volunteer
